I run Couch to 5k running groups starting throughout the year. These are aimed at those who may never have run for fitness before and will build your running capacity up to the point where you can run 5 km non-stop. The program is very gradual but effective and is carried out in a safe off-road environment. We do our runs locally in Cholsey.

Make a positive change today.

I run hour-long classes each week for those wishing to have a regular general all-round workout . The session covers cardio, strength and flexibility/balance and is aimed at people with only a normal level of fitness. There’s no need to book or pay in advance.

Most personal trainers work from a busy public gym, while some will visit you at home. I offer the best of both worlds as I work from a space that’s totally private but with all the equipment I need to deliver the session to meet your fitness needs. Personal Training in Cholsey, Didcot, Wallingford and South Oxfordshire. There’s no membership fee and my session rates are extremely competitive.

lower-back-pain-image.jpg

Lower back pain is one of the most common conditions among adults in the UK.

Between 10% and 15% suffering from it at any one time and up to 40% suffering from it each year. Forty to sixty year olds report it the most and the NHS spends around £1.5 billion each year treating it, while the cost to the economy has been estimated at £12 billion a year (2013 figures).

People who spend large parts of their day sitting down, commuting, & at work are at particular risk.

While those who are overweight or don’t take much exercise are also likely to suffer from the condition. Exercise is often cited as very effective for lower back pain, but with gyms and physiotherapy clinics closed during the coronavirus pandemic it can be very hard to find help right now.
